CCF named 2020 top-rated nonprofit

Award based on outstanding reviews places Cambodian Children’s Fund among the best in the world

CCF has been named as a ‘2020 Top-Rated Nonprofit’ by GreatNonProfits, the leading provider of reviews of charities and nonprofits.

Given out each year to a distinguished few among the global nonprofit community, the award is a positive end to a challenging year for CCF, providing optimism for the months ahead.

With a proven model, CCF transforms the lives of the most impoverished children and families in Cambodia, ending the cycle of poverty and creating tomorrow’s leaders capable of initiating change in their communities and country.

CCF made the top list for the year based on reviews and ratings by people who have direct experience of our work with marginalized Cambodian communities. This includes volunteers, partners and donors.

“We have seen that the lives of the two boys whom we sponsor, plus the other CCF children we have met, have been totally transformed by the charity. We are delighted to rate CCF as 5* - it deserves nothing less,” wrote Helen, a donor and CCF child sponsor, in a review for GreatNonprofits written earlier this year.

CCF volunteer Gail spoke of her firsthand experience seeing the difference that CCF makes to those most in need.

“I have had the privilege and complete JOY of supporting CCF through volunteer teams in the last two years,” she said, in a review posted in June.

“I have been inspired by their holistic approach - to go to any and all lengths to keep a child in school. It is clear they understand and honor the local community, seek to make a sustainable change by empowering their beneficiaries and, in the meantime, have not let a single child slip through their care. It is evident that young lives are forever changed and a community has been uplifted - all thanks to CCF.”

CCF previously made the list of GreatNonprofits top-rated organisations five years in a row, thanks to heartfelt tributes from our supporters.

“Cambodian Children’s Fund is a great example of a nonprofit making a real difference in their community,” said Perla Ni, CEO of GreatNonprofits.

“Their award is well-deserved recognition not only for their work, but the tremendous support they receive, as shown by the many outstanding reviews they have received from people who have direct experience working with them.”
