Transformation Tuesday: Srey Rath

Many of us will remember the excitement of trying on a school uniform for the first time, but for our new students at CCF it can mean so much more. It’s often the moment it hits home that their dream of getting an education is actually going to happen – a dream that their parents likely couldn’t fulfil. It represents their first step on a path that they never thought possible.

Srey Rath couldn’t keep the smile off her face. “I’m so excited about wearing my uniform to school this year. I want to learn to read and write Khmer and English so I can get a good job and help my family!”
