Transformation Tuesday: Leaving Phnom Penh

“For me, right now, it is enough – but I want more for my children,” Phan Bopha.

This quote sums up the dreams of many Cambodian mothers, but through sheer determination and hard work, Bopha and her husband have taken themselves from near destitution to an independent life in a new home in the countryside. This is our dream, too – to see the families we support complete this journey from deprivation to a better life.

Hoin, who leads our community work, knew them well when they lived in Steung Meanchey and used many CCF services. He recently paid them a visit to find out how they are and how their lives have changed. Watch this special video edition of Transformation Tuesday, and be inspired.
