Take a look at photos of our residential children experiencing the joys family life over the Khmer New Year
The Khmer New Year is a special time here in Cambodia, with all CCF’s students taking time away from their studies to spend the holiday with their families.
In past years children in CCF’s residential care, who may not have a family or have a home environment that is not safe, have stayed behind and celebrated with staff, but this year every child was taken by carers to experience a true family Khmer New Year.
Now the holiday is over, CCF’s students have returned to their classrooms and the community is bustling once again.
Here are some photos of our residential children enjoying the holiday. The carers and foster families took the children to visit the pagoda, played traditional games and enjoyed family gatherings to share food. CCF prepared each family with a package and provided them with transportation to the provinces.
