Our STEAM Philosophy

From photography and digital media to interdisciplinary problem-solving, our program nurtures curious, creative leaders who turn real-world challenges into meaningful contributions for the future.

  • The Power of STEAM: By integrating the Arts with STEM disciplines, our students build strong conceptual foundations, combining critical thinking with creative exploration and transferable skills across all subjects.
  • Constructivist Learning: Driven by hands-on, project-based challenges, students take ownership of their education as they design, innovate, and reflect during dedicated classes and active clubs.
  • Real-World Assessment: Moving beyond traditional tests, our educators evaluate growth through student portfolios, presentations, and performance tasks that showcase authentic, high-level achievement.

Technology & Digital Literacy

  • Autonomous Engineering: Students build and program Arduino and LEGO robots, winning top national titles and representing Cambodia globally at the World Robot Olympiad and FIRST Global Challenge.

  • Real-World Solutions: Female teams design and code mobile apps that address community needs, producing award-winning platforms such as Slek Rit for Khmer literacy.

  • Creative Storytelling: Students master video production, digital photography, and graphic design, managing the bilingual student magazine Bang Kert using industry-standard Adobe tools.

Project Showcase

Showcasing Innovation

The NCA hosts Project Showcases (Student Fairs), where hundreds of club participants present their working prototypes, scientific research, and creative projects to peers, families, and international visitors. These showcases build public speaking confidence and foster a culture of inquiry and peer learning. In recent years, students have exhibited over 200 projects across physics, chemistry, ICT, biology, and environmental design.
