The role

Open to Cambodian Candidates Only

Cambodian Children’s Fund (CCF) is a leading international NGO that contributes to social development by providing life-changing education, nourishment, and healing to vulnerable children in some of Cambodia’s most destitute communities. Its vision is to transform these children into tomorrow’s leaders.

A well-respected NGO, CCF currently cares for more than 1,800 students and 14,000 people annually, helping entire families and communities in crisis through a significant array of programs and initiatives.

CCF operates in Cambodia through strong support relationship development and fundraising businesses in the USA, Australia, the UK, and Hong Kong. It has grown rapidly since its inception. To support development, CCF is currently seeking a qualified candidate for a Sponsor Relations Officer based in Phnom Penh.

This role is responsible for fostering a close relationship between CCF children and their sponsors. This primarily happens through regular email exchanges, which must be translated and explained to the child, and the child should be encouraged and taught how to respond in a caring way. In addition to regular email translation, the Sponsor Relations Officer will often directly engage with our sponsors. This may be through chaperoning outing trips, following up on queries or arranging gifts. The role requires great people skills and the ability to engage with people from all over the world (often with tolerance, and always with respect). There is also a duty to keep accurate records, follow a work rotation schedule and report accurately. It is vital that the Sponsor Relations Officer (SRO) actively supports their team as well as completing their own work.
