The role

Cambodian Children’s Fund (CCF) is a leading international NGO that contributes to social development by providing life-changing education, nourishment, and healing to vulnerable children in some of Cambodia’s most destitute communities. Its vision is to transform these children into tomorrow’s leaders.

A well-respected NGO, CCF currently cares for more than 1,800 students and 14,000 people annually, helping entire families and communities in crisis through a significant array of programs and initiatives.

CCF operates in Cambodia through strong support relationship development and fundraising businesses in the USA, Australia, the UK, and Hong Kong. It has grown rapidly since its inception. To support development, CCF is currently seeking a qualified candidate for the Digital Marketing Coordinator position based in Phnom Penh.

This role will be responsible for developing and implementing CCF's digital fundraising strategy with the primary objective of increasing donations from digital channels. This includes defining donor journeys and using marketing tools and techniques, such as landing pages and remarketing. The person is expected to be data-driven with a strong emphasis on measurement and reporting to continuously improve campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage CCF's social media and communications strategy

  • Manage and oversee social media content/campaign, and communication content

  • Develop and implement supporter journeys to assist with audience definition, content, and timing

  • Define digital media KPIs, monthly analytics reporting, and measuring the success of digital campaigns

  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies

  • Use social media marketing tools, Google Analytics, Facebook/Social media insights, and Hootsuite

  • Copywriting and basic design are needed, as well as working alongside our photographers, videographers, and designers, to ensure content is informative and appealing

  • Collaborate with Marketing and Fundraising teams internationally

  • Monitor SEO and user engagement, and suggest content optimization

  • Website editing using WordPress or Craft

Requirements

  • Visibly ethical and able to demonstrate CCF values in day-to-day work

  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a similar field is preferred

  • At least 3 years of experience in digital marketing in a similar sector

  • Experience using Facebook lookalike audiences and remarketing techniques

  • Experience with planning, executing, and managing digital campaigns, including goal-setting, tracking, and measurement using Google Analytics

  • Experience with website management and CMS tools

  • Experience with A/B testing and other optimisation techniques, such as SEO

  • Experience with mass email marketing tools such as Mailchimp or Campaign Monitor

  • Strong understanding of the use of social media for fundraising, brand promotion, and relevant digital KPIs and reporting

  • Excellent knowledge of digital channels, including, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Vimeo, and YouTube

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with high-level proficiency in Khmer and English

  • Ability to communicate complex concepts in simple terms

  • Ability to be flexible when circumstances change and when dealing with difficult situations

  • Ability to self-manage and work independently as well as collaboratively with a team

  • High compassion and commitment to work with community people and children from complex backgrounds and home lives
