Leaving on a Jet Plane – off to San Diego

It’s that time of the year again, when CCF talent meets the generosity of the Anthony Robbins Foundation. The result of this happy combination were recently to be seen at Phnom Penh International airport as friends, family and CCF staff gathered to say a temporary farewell to a team from CCF as they set out on the first leg of the long and exciting journey from Cambodia to the US. There, as participants in the Global Youth Leadership Summit at the University of San Diego in California, they are CCF’s fourth set of representatives, learning about leadership, mixing with nationalities from every corner of the globe and experiencing life as they never ever expected it. Every year CCF’s delegates have performed outstandingly. They have won awards and hearts and brought back lessons and insights to help change and shape their own lives and to share with their friends. This year’s team is made up of 4 girls; Sina, Sokly, Monykeo and Sokleang and one boy, Sokhay. Every one of them left Cambodian airspace happy and a bit nervous, not knowing what they might find or do or learn. When they’re back, they’ll tell us. And we’ll tell you. 8.8.2011.Photo1
