At a press conference on the 26th November, Cambodian Children’s Fund and eMoney launched a new partnership, and a six month fundraising campaign through eMoney’s fintech platform in Cambodia. We are delighted by the success and support that this partnership has brought to CCF so far.
Through a donation portal on the eMoney app, eMoney users across Cambodia are now able to donate to CCF with ease. Donations are also able to be made in person at all 8,000 eMoney stores throughout the country, using the account code 2004.
A leading mobile financial service provider, eMoney provides faster, easier, and safer financial services to Cambodians. Through their network in Cambodia and partnerships with organizations like CCF, eMoney aims to influence fintech and ICT into everyday life - with no limitations for anyone, anywhere.
Our partnership will provide STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) and ICT resources for over 2,000 of Cambodia’s most underprivileged children studying in CCF’s schools in Steung Meanchey, Phnom Penh. By funding STEM and ICT education at CCF, eMoney are proud to support the development of a tech generation well skilled for future careers in technology in Cambodia.
With eMoney’s support, children like Sophea will be able to thrive in the classroom and get the hard skills they need for their future. Living in extreme poverty in Steung Meanchey, she was never able to go to school as she had to scavenge to help support her family. Through CCF, Sophea has been able to finally access an education, and her family has the support they need to provide a safe and secure home for her and her siblings. They will never know such poverty again.
“Cambodian Children’s Fund has developed a strong STEM education facility in Steung Meanchey, serving a very impoverished area. The partnership with eMoney will allow enhanced education for our students. This association also allows our CCF supporters an efficient way to follow our work and donate to our programs. eMoney has been wonderfully supportive in setting up this platform and we appreciate their focus on STEM education here,” said CCF Founder and Executive Director, Scott Neeson, about the partnership.
eMoney customers can easily donate to CCF through the eMoney app, just follow the instructions in the video below.
Customers can also donate to CCF at any eMoney store across Cambodia. Our account number is 2004. All donations will go directly to our education program, providing a life line to children working for a better future for themselves. Since 2004, we have transformed thousands of the most impoverished kids into tomorrow’s leaders.
