Giving Teachers a Boost – CCF Launches Teacher Resource Centre

scott resource-roomToday Cambodian Children’s Fund has taken another step forward in our innovative education program, with the launch of the CCF Resource Centre for Teachers.  Comprising of three rooms, each with it’s own purpose, the Centre is a dedicated space for teachers to access information, tools and materials, prepare classes, stretch their creativity, learn from each other and gain inspiration.

With CCF’s Teachers, Senior Staff and visiting supporters in attendance, Scott Neeson reinforced education as CCFs central mission and congratulated all involved on developing a critical support for this incredibly important work.

2012 saw CCF awarded a WISE award as “one of the world’s best initiatives in innovative education”, and the Resource Centre is another step in progressing the vision of having an education program comparable with any public or private school within Cambodia.

Through CCF’s Facilities and satellite schools, over 1,400 children from impoverished communities have access to one of the most valuable gifts - education.  With the Teachers having access to more support and resources, we look forward to being able to offer more to the children and community of Steung Meanchey.
