Visiting artist and author Valentina and her Art in a Box team conducted a very special art class for students at CCF last week.

The students learned how to paint Cambodian animals out of basic shapes, create a background and add details to make their paintings more realistic.

For most of these students, it was their first time painting and using painting equipment. With a little encouragement and support, the final artworks were amazing and very inspiring to see.

The students painted animals that live in Cambodia, including native birds, geckos and deers.

A big thank you to the U.S. Embassy Phnom Penh, Cambodia for arranging Valentina’s special visit.
