ICT Education Specialist

Commitment: Full-time (3-6 months min)

The role

CCF is looking for experienced and qualified ICT Education Specialists to support the development and improvement of the ICT program within school. The ICT Education Specialist will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of ICT integration within the school. The ICT Education Specialist will work with teachers who are in the same area of specialism as them.

OUTCOMES

  • Conduct mapping of ICT for learning and Edtech tools that could be integrated to support the ICT in education program
  • Develop a strategic roadmap and implementation plan for integrating ICT in education
  • Collaborate with ICT teachers and stakeholders to establish monitoring and evaluation benchmarks for ICT integration
  • Support the revision and implementation of the existing ICT curriculum for school
  • Overview on the ICT textbook content, development of each unit and revised if needed
  • Support the upgrading and implementation of the Learning Management System within the school

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Qualified ICT education specialist in home country is preferred
  • Advanced understanding of ICT for education program
  • Experience in planning and developing ICT learning programmes is desirable
  • Experience with the application of the Learning Management System is desirable
  • Experience mentoring and coaching teams and individual teachers is desirable

  • Have an understanding of ICT for high school education
  • Actively promote openness, reflective thinking, teamwork and initiative
  • Have a strong sense of moral purpose to enrich teaching and learning at CCF
  • Be patient and flexible

The recruiting panel will need to feel confident that the successful candidate understands the CCF values and demonstrates associated behaviors.

OTHER BITS & PIECES

At CCF we care for a lot of children and their families, but we also care about you. To ensure that everyone is safe we require all confirmed volunteers to provide the following before they arrive at CCF:

  • A federal level police screening from your country of residence to ensure you are safe to work with children
  • Two references we can contact for additional background checks
  • Copy of your valid passport
  • A passport photo
  • Proof of your relevant qualifications
  • Health insurance for the duration of your placement at CCF (medical evacuation coverage at a minimum)
