This role will apply teaching methodology focusing on active learning, differentiation and 21st century skills. In addition, teachers need to prepare lesson plans and set a clear learning intention including success criteria to ensure the quality of teaching and meet individual student’s need. Teachers have to use appropriate assessments (assessment for learning and assessment of learning) to access students’ learning and to inform their teaching practice. This role needs to work collaboratively with math teacher team leader and math team to share planning and develop teaching resources in line with CCF math curriculum to improve student learning outcome.

Key Liaison: Math Teacher Team Leader and Education Management Team
Cooperate as a member of a teaching team to plan math lessons that meet individual students’ needs, interests and abilities;
Prepare daily Math lesson plans and establish clear learning intention and success criteria;
Prepare math teaching resources in advance in order to deliver effective math lessons;
Apply active learning in the classroom in terms of math teaching;
Promote CCF core values within their daily teaching and learning;
Work cooperatively with volunteer as your buddy teacher;
Create math homework for each student;
Complete daily attendance according to CCF procedures;
Give advice and talk to individual students who have not followed classrooms agreements and expectations;
Report any concerns or issues regarding student behavior, health, hygiene or well-being to the relevant staff;
Maintain math teaching resources by ordering ahead of time to maintain stocks;
Encourage students to set and maintain appropriate standards of classroom behavior through the creation of classroom agreements that outline expected behaviors inside and outside the classroom.
Visibly ethical and able to demonstrate CCF values in day-to-day work;
Undergraduate or Bachelor degree in subject areas is preferable;
At least 1-year experience as a teacher in subject areas for primary or secondary school in General Education program of Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport;
Pedagogy certificate for primary/secondary school;
Be able to use English language is an advantage;
ICT Skills (Microsoft word and Excel, internet and Email) and Counseling skills;
Be honest and trustworthy, Patient, respectful and helpful;
Take responsibility, flexible and committed;
High compassion and commitment to work with community people and poor children;
Working Hour: 7:30pm-12:00pm, 1:30pm-5:00pm, Monday – Saturday.
