Khmer Program Officer
The role
Note: For Cambodian applications Only
The Khmer Program Officer will be mainly responsible for developing and implementing Khmer and Math curriculum for Primary School and monitoring the teaching quality to ensure the expected outcomes are achieved.
The role will be also developing Long Term Plan (LTP) and Medium Term Plan (MTP) for teachers to be implemented and provide necessary training sessions to Khmer and Math teachers so that they will be able to provide good teaching quality to students. The role needs to check the teacher's planning, give feedback, observe teaching and learning, evaluate the progress of the programs and come up with practical solutions and tools in order to drive our education program to its highest impact.

Key Responsibilities
Model the organization’s values and associated behaviors within the office
Develop curriculum and design for Khmer and Math programs
Plan, organize, prepare and conduct training sessions for Khmer and Math teachers
Manage, Assess and Evaluate the process of Khmer and Math Programs at all school sites
Develop and implement Long Term Plan (LTP) and Medium Term Plan (MTP) for Khmer and math subjects
Check teacher’s planning, assessment methodology, and tools, and follow up on the LTP and MTP
Organize and prepare training assessment based on teacher’s individual development plan (IDP)
Weekly progress report of the program to curriculum coordinator and school manager
Coordinate, observe, and assess teachers’ teaching to improve teaching quality
Coordinate, observe, and assess students’ learning to improve learning quality
Facilitate social events, meetings, field trips, and conduct student contests to promote learning quality
Assist math and Khmer teachers effectively in teaching and learning
Do performance plan and appraisal with Math and Khmer teachers
Take part in professional development related to Khmer and Math programs, which are offered by CCF both internally and externally
Work with the teacher team leaders to plan lessons that meet individual students’ needs, interests and abilities.
Maintain excellent communication with Math and Khmer teachers and the Curriculum Coordinator in all matters relating to the program and student wellbeing
Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager
Requirements
Ethical and able to demonstrate CCF values in day-to-day work;
Bachelor's degree in Khmer subject area is preferable, or a related subject;
At least 2-year experience in Khmer General (KGE) programs;
Pedagogy certificate for primary/secondary school;
Good knowledge of teaching and learning assessment;
Good knowledge of teacher training methodology;
Be able to use Microsoft Office and Internet;
Good in reading, writing, and speaking in English;
Willing to learn new things, especially 21st-century skills;
Be honest and trustworthy, respectful and helpful, committed, responsible, and be flexible;
High compassion and commitment to working with our community and children from a difficult background.
Working Day/Hours:
Monday-Saturday, from 7:30am-12:00pm and 1:30pm -5:00pm.
