The role

About “English Teacher (Floating)”

English Teacher (Floating) plays important role in leading and managing classes when there are no teachers. The role is also responsible for teaching, monitoring and observing students’ development. In addition, he/she assists office administration work including checking and following up students’ daily attendance, dealing with students’ misbehavior problems and other tasks in education team assigned by supervisors. The Teacher is required to work from Monday to Saturday and has to make good cooperation with all of our staff and respect the core values, rules, and policies of our CCF.

Manage: N/A
Key Liaison: Education Management Team and other relevant programs

Key Responsibilities

  • Substitute the class when there is no teacher

  • Facilitate the lab room when e-learning facilitator are absent or come late

  • Plan flexible unit of work which can be used to substitute the classes when needed

  • Assist office or school administration tasks when there is no class to teach including checking and following up students’ daily attendance, dealing with students’ misbehavior and other task assigned by supervisors

  • Work with ICT teachers to plan the use of online resources to support teaching and learning

  • Assist in preparing Student Monthly Perfect Attendance Events for Satellite Schools

  • Assist in accompanying students to meet Sponsor Relation Officers or external CCF activities and events

  • Assist in Student Monthly Score Record as well as STL Student Monthly Award

  • Assist in preparing study materials for teaching and learning

  • Assist in collecting students’ official documents for Satellite Schools

  • Encourage students to study hard and encourage English Speaking Environment in the classroom.

  • Delivering lesson effectively and interestingly

  • Attend all professional development which is required by management team

  • Check student attendance and input in the data base

  • Ensure the friendly learning environment for students

  • Educate students with morality and good behavior

  • Take responsibility for other urgent and related-tasks as needed


  • Visibly ethical and able to demonstrate CCF values in day-to-day work;

  • Bachelor degree of TESOL or related filed;

  • Certificate of Teaching Methodology is preferred;

  • English Proficiency (At least GEP Level 9A at ACE or equivalent qualification);

  • ICT Skills (Microsoft word and Excel, internet and Email) and Counseling skills;

  • Be honest and trustworthy, Patient, respectful and helpful;

  • Take responsibility, flexible and committed;

  • High compassion and commitment to work with community people and poor children.

  • Working Hour: 7:30pm-12:00pm, 1:30pm-5:00pm, Monday – Saturday.
