This role will be responsible for registering and transferring CCF’s students into public school on time. The Education Assistant needs to work closely with public schools where CCF students are studying which includes: school visits, building good cooperation with public school teachers and directors, check, monitor and deal with student’s absences and all student’s affairs.
Reports to: School Operation Coordinator
Manage: CCF students who study at Public School
Key Liaison: All CCF Staffs and Teachers at Public Schools
Manage CCF’s students around 200 who study in secondary and high school by providing study materials and uniforms.
Register students into public schools with time line of MoEYS and make sure all students have official documents.
Transfer CCF’s students from CCF school to public school base on request with valid reason or approval from top management.
Build good relationship with public school teachers and school director to collect student’s attendance at public school every study day.
Deal kid’s case or student’s problem with related person to ensure all the students problem have been solved on time and effective.
Collect monthly students score from public schools and insert it into the database effectively.
Monitor teaching and learning for students who study in catch up classes.
Maintain good relations with parents and students to ensure high student achievement and attendance rates. Build a sense of sharing, accountability and commitment of kids to improve their morality.
Monitor and support good student discipline, carrying out consequences and sanctions as deemed necessary according to policy.
Assist in Student of The Year, Student Annual Party, STL Khmer New Year Pocket Money, STL Pchum Ben Pocket Money and other relevant events.
Ensure Pocket Money has distributed to students from grade 9 to 12 in early of month refer to memo.
Arrange meeting with public school directors, public school teachers, students’ parents meeting, and meeting with students.
Conduct visit to students’ families and CCF schools.
Other tasks assigned by Supervisor.
Visibly ethical and able to demonstrate CCF values in day-to-day work.
Undergraduate or Bachelor degree of Management, Administration or other related field.
1-year experience in community or with young kids or similar work.
Knowledge of dealing with public school teacher in a professional manner.
Be able to use English language is an advantage.
Knowledge of Microsoft word and Excel, internet and Email).
Be honest and trustworthy, Patient, respectful and helpful.
Take responsibility, flexible and committed.
High compassion and commitment to work with community people and poor children.
Working Day: Monday – Saturday.
