As a counselor, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth running of counseling service and case management. This included providing support & Counsel CCF's kids toward Best Manner and psychological issues; promote basic social change education among community members; strengthen staff's technical skills for working with children; and ensure systematic counseling process & documentation is developed, standardized, and well functioned.
Reports to: Counseling Unit Supervisor
Key Liaison: CCF Staff
Provide individual and group counseling to CCF target to improve emotional and mental health.
Help clients to make decision and choices regarding to possible ways.
Liaise other relevance programs for helping based on their issues raise up.
Help client to define goals and action plan to gain insight.
Build Relationship with clients by playing and art technique.
Encourage clients to out-express feeling and experiences which they cannot share with others.
Accept without bias issues raise by client.
Active listen to client concerns by showing empathizing.
Twin pathways with good cooperation with relevance NGOs.
Conduct training, workshop to safe accommodation kids, STL kids, and CCF staff.
Share knowledge to residential kid, community people through collaborated with other relevance programs.
Referring clients to get treatment from relevance sources if needed.
Attend supervision and training courses to develop therapeutic/counseling processes.
Ongoing record and keep document with confidentiality.
Update counseling tools, counselor manual, and curriculum.
Participate to prepare budget plan, Operation Plan, annual work plan,
Submit monthly Operation Plan tracking, Kid case management, annual achievement & annual report.
Conduct case conference and counselor team meeting as needed.
Decorate counseling room & make safety environment for concern CCF beneficiary to release their feeling, relax, have fun, comfortable, and get emotional support.
Ethical and able to demonstrate CCF values in day-to-day work
Bachelor degree of psychology, counseling or related mental health field
At least 1-year experience of counseling and case management
Knowledge of interpersonal skills and communication skills
Emotional intelligence and mutual understanding
High performance negotiation and initiative problem solving skills
Excellent in computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Be honest, trustworthy, patient, respectful and helpful
High compassion and commitment to work with our community and children from a difficult background
