Career & Life Skill and Leadership Program Manager
The Career and Life Skills & Leadership Program Manager (CLS& L PM) will work closely with the Country Manager (CM) to lead the teams of the two programs to develop and execute the annual program plan. The incumbent is directly accountable for establishing the strategic implementation plan, monitoring, reporting, evaluation and continuous quality improvement of the CLS and Leadership Programs to ensure effective student career planning, supporting for university education, vocational training and employment opportunities and leadership qualities for all CCF targeted youth groups. S/he will develop and facilitate for equipping the leadership and life skills to both young and adult students, which will allow them to learn how to live and work independently and to become responsible citizens.
The CLS & Leadership Program Manager has a key role in leading and facilitating the program activities in order to achieve our goal of empowering and supporting each child, youth’s transformation into an independent leader.
Reports to: Country Manager
Key Liaison: Education Program, Community Outreach Program and Childcare Teams,
To lead the CLS & Leadership team in developing Strategic Program Plan, Implementing, Monitoring and Evaluation with continuous improvement in the program quality.
To provide overall leadership and management to CLS & Leadership team for implementing the strategic plan and ensuring the life skills, career development and employment opportunity provided to the targeted students and youths.
To facilitate and support the student and youth ‘s career planning, accessibility to university education, attending the vocational training, receiving employment opportunities and successful reintegration back into the community.
Develop and implement transition program, for CCF young adults, enabling successful tertiary education and/or employment and reintegration.
Empower CCF young adults to take up their leadership roles, offering opportunities to connect with people, organizations and learning options.
Visibly ethical and able to demonstrate CCF values in day-to-day work.
At least 5 years relevant experience with demonstrated success in youth development program management.
Bachelor Degree in development, education, leadership, management, or any relevant field.
Ability to effectively prioritize projects and manage resources; ability to map daily responsibilities to the organization's overall mission and goals.
Ability to think strategically and boldly while remaining focused on the detail-oriented works
Strong leadership and management skills with experience leading teams and achieving high performance.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, fluent in English and Khmer.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Email, and communications platforms.
Genuine interest in working to build the capacity of CCF youth and staff in accordance with CCF’s vision, mission and values.
