The Sumner M Redstone Children's Centre opened in August 2007 and is the primary facility for our Vocational Training programs. The Centre's principal building houses classrooms, a computer lab, kitchen facilities, a medical room, social area and bedrooms.
The training program combines theory with practical application so that students get hands-on knowledge of their chosen field. Once qualified, CCF places graduates in apprenticeships or jobs, either within other CCF facilities or in the private sector.
We believe that when they reach adulthood, every child will have developed the skills, confidence and potential to lift their broken families out of poverty. Eventually, they will have the power to restore entire communities. Through protection, education and health care, we're giving children the strength to achieve this goal.
