In 2007, the CCF offered new futures to more than 50 new residential students.
Many of these children arrived with considerable health problems as a direct result of environmental hazards and malnutrition. Much work is needed to get them back on track, and vaccinations, blood testing and early diagnosis are critical factors in aiding their recovery.
Admittedly, the waiting room isn’t the easiest place to be on vaccination day, but we do what we can to dry up the tears and offer distraction.
