Give desperately-needed food aid to destitute communities where children already face chronic malnutrition

As of April 2008, world stocks of rice have fallen to their lowest since the early 1970’s.
Cambodia has been especially hard hit. The cost of rice has increased 300% since 2007 – to nearly
$ 1,000 per tonne (1,000 kg). It is inevitable that famine will rise in the poorest parts of the country, as families struggle to spend the majority of their income on food.
The children of these destitute communities already face chronic malnutrition. Without aid, many will not survive.

$ 240,000
will allow the CCF to launch a food relief program of 20 tonnes of rice per month to suffering communities
