Fundraising
Your time, talents and efforts are tremendous gifts, and we have many ways for you to become involved with CCF.
Fundraising is one of the most effective ways to help us from your home country. Click here for a collection of some of our favorite fundraising ideas, from holding a bake sale or hosting a dinner party, to selling handmade jewelry or artwork.
You can also write to support@cambodianchildrensfund.org to receive a fundraising information pack and more information.

Job & Volunteer Opportunities
We are in the rare and fortunate position of being fully staffed with volunteers through 2008. Please note that we are currently only considering submissions for individuals interested in volunteering in 2009, and that available positions are very limited.
We get many offers from wonderful people hoping to volunteer. We truly appreciate your enthusiasm and support, and ask that you please bear in mind that CCF always endeavors to employ Cambodian nationals for staff positions.
We have full-time childcare and education staff to look after the children, so we can only accept volunteers who bring particular skills or expertise relevant to our needs:
- Certified health/medical personnel - particularly pediatric care, and pre- and post-natal specialists
- Certified education personnel - experienced ESL teachers, art teachers, pedagogical specialists, human rights educators, leadership training specialists and media studies personnel
- Grant writers & reporters
We request that all volunteers commit to a minimum of 4-6 months service, depending on the project area. We rarely accept short-term volunteers except under exceptional circumstances or in the case of those individuals with skills required for a specific short-term project.
Volunteers are responsible for their own transport from their home country to Cambodia (return), initial visas, meals and accommodation during their stay here.
In keeping with our Child Protection Policy, CCF will ask any successful candidates for background checks, a current police check and two character/professional references with contact details. All staff and volunteers are asked to sign our Code of Conduct and declare any prior investigations or convictions with regard to allegations of child abuse or suggesting unsuitability for working with children.
If you meet the above criteria, please send a CV and a short cover letter (or simply the body of an email) explaining your skills, motivations and expectations: what you can offer, why you are doing this, and what you would expect to achieve or receive from the experience.
Please send your application to volunteer@cambodianchildrensfund.org. Should there be any open positions, a member of our Phnom Penh staff will contact you.
