Sponsorship & How it Helps
Your financial gift contributes to essential shelter, health care, nutritious meals, education and clothing - and also helps to support your sponsored child’s family and community.
As a sponsor, you can become a valuable mentor, pen-pal and friend. Your email communication with your sponsored child starts immediately after you enroll, and you’ll also receive a mailed welcome pack with information and photos. Within the first year of sponsorship, we'll send you a personalized DVD video of your child.
Through email letters, academic reports, photos and visits, you can share in your sponsored child’s hopes, challenges, goals and achievements - and play a crucial role in his or her progress. You can also share personal stories about your own life, your family and your culture. For children who have been orphaned or abandoned, this emotional sustenance is very precious, and can promote their recovery and growth.
CCF newsletters, updates and website features will also keep you in touch with CCF as we grow and achieve new landmarks. Sponsoring a child is one of the most effective and rewarding ways in which individuals can support CCF. Thank you for joining the CCF family!
