In a country with chronic youth unemployment, low education levels and generally underdeveloped industries, our Vocational Training program is both a challenge and an opportunity.

This component of CCF’s programming is invaluable for older children who have come to CCF with limited schooling, as they are unlikely to finish high school and proceed to higher studies. CCF’s ambitious approach begins with self-esteem building and personal management, and culminates with training in work sectors relevant to Cambodia.

Age-appropriate students are offered a range of vocational pursuits, including garment design, esthetics, IT services, restaurant services, graphics and web design. In tandem with skills training, CCF also offers general coursework in English and Khmer reading and writing, as well as internship opportunities in Community Leadership Development.
