CCF is currently only able to accept volunteers who bring particular skills or expertise relevant to our needs:
- . Certified health/medical personnel - particularly pediatric care, midwives and pre- and post-natal specialists
- . Certified education personnel - experienced ESL teachers, art teachers, pedagogical specialists, human rights educators, leadership training specialists and media studies personnel
- . Experienced grant writers & reporters
We request that all volunteers commit to a minimum of 1 month of service, depending on the project area. We rarely accept short-term volunteers except under exceptional circumstances or in the case of those individuals with skills required for a specific short-term project.
Volunteers are responsible for their own transport from their home country to Cambodia (return), initial visas, meals and accommodation during their stay here.
In keeping with our Child Protection Policy, CCF will ask any successful candidates for background checks, a current police check and two character/professional references with contact details.
If you meet the above criteria, please send a CV and a short cover letter (or simply the body of an email) explaining your skills, motivations and expectations: what you can offer, why you are doing this, and what you would expect to achieve or receive from the experience.
